Pastel Sneaker
Leather, fabric, shoe laces, thread, and rubber sole
PROJECT BRIEF
We had to handcraft a basic pair of cemented construction shoes from start to finish. Including pattern design, draping the last, cutting and sewing the leather, and finishing the sole. Any materials could be used for experiments.
Design concepts were totally on us. We could create whatever we want.
Inspiration
Korean Traditional Colors
Red, yellow, white, green, and blue.
Those colors were constantly used in Korean traditional cultures and many of them had this beautiful pastel tone. So I wanted to show those colors into my footwear design.

Getting inspired from Korean traditional color used , I tried to customize the sneaker with those colors.
